A Year in Another Home – MyRoomie

 One year back moving away from home for the first time especially in the pandemic situation was a tough decision for me and my family. In fact, I was having second thoughts when I was facing the problem of finding a room in my budget as well as one which can meet all my necessities. Then, one of my friends suggested to me, MyRoomie hostels in Bangalore for students. During the 3600 virtual tour of a room I was very much pleased with the rooms and when my parents saw the facilities of security and disciplinary, they were very much satisfied.

  

My biggest fear in the hostel was the new environment and missing the home comfort. But I must say the MyRoomie offers the best infrastructure and the best quality room within my budget. Moreover, the community also provides professional cleaning services to maintain the hygiene in the rooms. The best part about MyRoomie is, it is located in the nearest location to my university with the great surroundings which is rare in a city like Bangalore. Whereas, most of the student housing near universities don’t have much security, MyRoomie provides 24*7 security and biometric locks to give a safe environment to the students.


Apart from that MyRoomie also ensures the disciplinary environment so that students like us can focus on our studies. The community also provides high speed Wi-Fi that does not interrupt during any online classes. As MyRoomie gives priority to student’s fitness that is why they provide gym facilities to the hostels. The community organized counseling sessions to prioritize student’s mental health. As the students can bond with each other the community also has a chilling zone in the hostel where we can celebrate festivals with each other. To get in touch with the management regarding any issues, MyRoomie also provides an app where students can ask any queries and the management provides the best solutions immediately.


The journey as a first time hosteller in MyRoomie was really unexpected in terms or experience. The community not only gives me tons of memories and it also gives me another family away from home. The people around me were very enthusiastic and they had different mindsets still we shared a deep bonding. Even they helped me to shape my personality for my better future. I must say that the staff in the hostel are also very helpful and friendly.


Above all this the good thing about MyRoomie is they provide the best facilities to the students and they make a comfort zone away from home where students like us can enjoy the freedom as well as can take our own responsibility.
